Important notice: The Connect service closed on 31 May 2023. Statements will be issued as at 5th July even if your client had a nil balance during the period.

If your client’s account is due a distribution payment post closure, the cash will be managed in the following way:

  • If your client opted to have natural income paid to their bank account prior to closure, future distributions will continue to be paid to their bank account.
  • If your client did not opt to have natural income paid to their bank account, future distributions will be paid to either the client’s new provider or to their bank account in accordance with the client’s closure option

If the new provider is unable to accept the payment, cash will be paid to your client’s authorised bank account.
